How to Build Apps That Look Good

This is your guide to build apps the easiest way. I built a manifesting app for women in just 45 minutes. So let's build your app with me.

Step 1: Define Your Idea

Start by brainstorming with Claude:

  • Open Claude and just talk - dump everything
  • What is this app? Who is it for?
  • What problem does it solve?
  • Make a wireframe using Excalidraw

Take your time here. The better your idea is defined, the easier the build process will be.

Step 2: Generate UI Designs

If you want to skip the wireframe part, just use Manus AI. Manus is genuinely good at generating UI. Describe the vibe, the user, the feeling you want - it'll give you something good. Easier than creating from nothing.

Tips for Describing Your App

Be specific about:

  • Vibe - Is it playful, serious, minimal, bold?
  • Target user - Who is this for?
  • Feeling - What emotions should the app evoke?
  • Colors - Any preferred color palette?

Step 3: Build with Cursor/Anything

Go to Cursor (or similar AI-powered IDE). Just share the prompts you got from Manus AI and images. Build it - drag and drop your screens. Literally.

Setting Up Your App

  • Add custom instructions in the settings
  • Set up authentication methods for your app
  • Allow users to log in securely with their preferred provider

Everything just click the right button. If you are a beginner, this is the way to go.

Step 4: Launch

That's it! You have a working app. Now you can:

  • Test on your device
  • Take screenshots for the app store
  • Write your app description
  • Submit to App Store or Play Store

Key Tools Summary

| Tool | Purpose | |------|---------| | Claude | Brainstorming & planning | | Excalidraw | Wireframing | | Manus AI | UI generation | | Cursor/Anything | Building the app |

Pro Tips

  1. Start small - Build a simple feature first
  2. Iterate quickly - Get something working, then improve
  3. Use templates - Don't reinvent the wheel
  4. Test early - Test on real devices frequently

Building beautiful apps doesn't require years of coding experience. With the right AI tools, you can go from idea to working prototype in under an hour.
